There is two main character a boy and Sakura Yamauchi.

In this novel a boy call himself “Boku”. Boku means “I”. His name is hardly appear.
He is very very quiet, shy, cynical, attitude, arrogant person.
It is difficult to express by English word.
In Japanese slang, he is “コミュ障Komyu Shou”.
Komyu syou means a person who is not good talker and hasn’t friends, don’t like involving people.

Sakra is directly opposite person, cheerful, sociable, has many friends.
These two persons reminds me of The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya

But Sakura has pancreas disease.
Please imagine the cheerful cute girl has pancreas disease! She doesn’t have long to live!

So sad!

The story is Sakura enjoy her few remaining life with Komyu shou boy.

In Japanese review website, there are pros and cons about this novel.
Some people say the novel makes me cry!
Other people say it’s very poor! For children!

I think both of them are true.
Author of this novel is newcomer and this is light novel so a little rough and poor.
I think this Komyu shou boy is not so likable because he is so so negative and say many quibble.

But Sakura is so impressive because she has sad fate but very bright!
And when I understood the meanings of title “Kimi no Suizou wo Tabetai(I want to eat your pancreas)”, I couldn’t stop crying!

It’s very good novel and I’m looking forward to release!
