[Report] Exhibition of Naoki Urasawa

Naoki Urasawa is one of the most popular mangaka(manga artist) in Japan.
(Notable works: Yawara!, Master Keaton, Monster, 20th Century Boys)
His exibition is now being held at Setagaya Bungakukan.

At entrance, his characters welcome us.

Exhibition hall has a relaxed atmosphere, you can fully enjoy the world of Naoki Urasawa.
A huge number of original manuscripts are exhibited(over 1000 pieces).

Not only original manuscripts, but doodling of his school days, notebooks, rough sketch,are exibited.
There is a projection screen to expose his drawing in his studio.
As they are never usually seen, you can have a very valuable experience.

At the photo spot, you can take a photo with his characters.

Many his works are exibited and is for sale.
Comic books,postcards,T-shirts,music CDs,related works,and so on.
He also is the host of the TV show “Urasawa Naoki no MANBEN” to talk with famous manga artists. Video available.
